Effective October 15, 2026
Vault Rips is operated by AZ Custom Vinyl LLC ("we", "us"), of PO Box 5173, Glendale, AZ 85312. These Terms are the agreement between you and us for your use of the Vault Rips app and website (the "Service").
By creating an account or using the Service you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.
The Service is for adults only. You must be at least 18 years old to buy anything, and we ask for your date of birth before your first purchase.
If we find that an account belongs to someone under 18 we will close it. Where money has been taken from that account we will refund the unspent balance to the original payment method. We will not send cards to it.
You need one account, and it is yours alone. Do not share it, sell it, or create additional accounts.
Keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account, except where we are at fault.
The name and address you give us for shipping must be accurate. We send real parcels to them.
A pack is a purchase of one real, physical trading card. Which card you receive is determined at random at the moment you open the pack.
Every pack yields a card. There is no outcome in which you pay and receive nothing.
The odds for each tier are published before you buy, on the purchase screen and on the Odds Disclosure page in your account. They are fixed by us, they are the same for every customer, and nothing you do in the app changes them.
Pack artwork is decorative. Choosing a different pack design does not affect the pool, the odds, or the card you receive, and we say so on that screen.
You add credit to your account by card, and you spend that credit on packs. Credit is a prepayment for goods from us. It is not money held on deposit, it is not a stored-value or e-money product, it earns no interest, and it can only be spent in the Service.
Credit is not transferable between accounts and has no value outside the Service.
We keep two kinds of credit apart, and they behave differently:
Once you open a pack, that purchase is complete and is not refundable. You have received the thing you paid for — a card — and the outcome cannot be undone.
Unspent credit is a different matter: while it is unspent, you can ask us to refund it to the card you paid with. Contact support and we will process it.
Nothing in this section affects any statutory rights you have that cannot be excluded.
The card belongs to you from the moment you open the pack. We hold it for you while you decide what to do with it.
You have 3 days from opening a pack to tell us what to do with that card. The time remaining is shown on the card in your vault. Your two choices:
If you have not chosen by the time the 3 days are up, we buy the card back at the same 85% and add it to your credit. Nothing is charged to you, and the card remains recorded in your Codex as one you have pulled — selling a card back never removes it from your collection record.
You can change that default. In your account settings you can switch it to SHIP, and we will post your cards to you instead of buying them back. Because postage is priced per parcel and not per card, everything in your vault that is due to be shipped goes in the same parcel — but at a 3-day window that means a parcel roughly every 3 days while you are opening packs, and postage is charged each time. We say so on the setting itself.
We will not post a card to an address we do not hold, and we will not charge you for postage you cannot cover. If your account is set to SHIP and we are missing an address, a verified email address, or enough balance for the postage, we keep holding the card and tell you rather than acting.
When you sell a card back, you are selling us a physical item and we are buying it. The price is 85% of the card's value at the time you pulled it, which is shown to you before you confirm.
You choose how we pay you:
Cash payouts are handled by Stripe. You will need to complete their onboarding and identity verification before we can send money, and we cannot complete that on your behalf.
We apply a clearing period before a cash payout is released, and while our customer base is small every cash payout is reviewed by a person. This is to give a disputed or stolen card payment time to surface before money leaves.
If a payment to your account is disputed or reported as fraudulent, we may hold cash payouts on that account while we look into it. We may also convert a pending cash payout to account credit of the same amount.
These controls delay or redirect a payout. They are not a way for us to keep what we owe you: your card has already been returned to our stock when you chose cash, so refusing to pay would leave you with neither.
We post cards to the address you give us. Shipping costs are shown before you confirm, and are based on how many cards are in the parcel.
Risk passes to you on delivery. If a parcel arrives damaged or does not arrive, contact us and we will work it out with you.
We currently ship within the United States only. If we add other destinations we will list them at checkout, and you would be responsible for any import duties or taxes in your own country.
Where we are required to collect sales tax, it is calculated at checkout based on the destination address and shown before you confirm.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms, or where we reasonably suspect fraud.
If we close your account, cards in your vault remain yours. We will ship them to you at your cost, or buy them back at the usual rate, and we will refund unspent credit that was added by card to the card it came from.
You can close your own account at any time by contacting support. Some records must be kept afterwards — see the Privacy Policy.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
Before starting any formal proceedings, please contact us at support@vaultrips.app. Most problems are a misunderstanding and we would rather fix it than argue about it.
Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Arizona, and you and we each consent to that jurisdiction.
The Service is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Card values are based on third-party market data. We do not guarantee that a card will hold, gain or reach any particular value, and nothing in the Service is investment advice.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or $100.
Nothing here limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
We may update these Terms. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect.
Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not, you can close your account and we will settle your vault and your unspent credit as described in section 13.
